GHG Emissions

Scope 1: Direct GHG Emissions

Scope 1 emissions are direct emissions from sources that are owned or controlled by the company (e.g., emissions from combustion in owned or controlled boilers, vehicles, or emissions from chemical production in owned or controlled process equipment).

Scope 2: Indirect GHG Emissions from Purchased Energy

Scope 2 covers indirect GHG emissions from the consumption of purchased electricity, steam, heating, and cooling.

Scope 3: Other Indirect GHG Emissions

Scope 3 includes all other indirect emissions not covered in Scope 2 that occur in the value chain of the company, including both upstream and downstream emissions.
